Google co-founder Larry Page buys ‘Senses’ from Sir Douglas Myers

For the luxury yacht owners, the world is one big playground, and they have the playthings to prove it. Google’s billionaire co-founder Larry Page is now being reported to have bought the $45 million luxury yacht from New Zealand businessman Sir Douglas Myers. The 193-foot superyacht, dubbed Senses, has been described as a luxurious adventure boat by Myers. He said…

It’s an adventure boat and, for its size, I think it is the best around. I have been going around the world for the last five or six years on that. It’s been pretty good fun. It goes somewhere I want to go and I fly in, take some friends and spend a month or two.

The luxury yacht has its interiors done by famous French designer Philippe Starck. On the split-level decks are the sun-lounging areas, with a number of deck chairs. Other lavish amenities include sheltered indoor and outdoor dining areas, a gym and on-deck Jacuzzi. The Senses luxury yacht accommodates 10 guests and 14 crew. The yacht was earlier available for charter in the Seychelles Islands for $343,000 a week.

The Senses superyacht was made in 1999 by German boat-builders Schweers.
